A little bit about Søren

Søren Birch is the former assistant headchef at Tabu since the start of September 2016. Former headchef at Fusion and chef at the Michelin restaurant Dragsholm Slot. Søren, who was born and raised in Flauenskjold, was originally educated at San Giovanni. Søren has 2 lovely children and is married to Tina.

A little bit about Simon

Simon Kvist Bjerre, who lives in Hjørring, is highly respected in the servants profession. with 3 times nominee as Sommelier of the Year and 3 times bronze at the Servant of the Year competition. Prior to his two years as restaurant manager at Tabu, he has been a sommelier at both respected Fru Larsen and Norsminde Kro. Simon was originally trained at Molskroen.
Simon is married to Annette.

About our restaurant

Alimentum has its home in the beautiful “Music House Quarter”. It is a restaurant that focuses on vegetables, the sea and the areas around us. We are committed to sustainability when it comes to nature and relaxed atmosphere when it comes to our guests. The venue has most recently housed a barbecue bar, and further back in time it has been a bakery. The property is owned by Valhal Estate, who are also partners and co-founders of Alimentum.
